I have only 1 problem with the Dakotas. Stay away from the 3.9L V6, because you may be thinking about that 5.2L that has more power, like I do with mine. No other problems, the V6 is excellent, but if you want a little power without spending a whole lot of money, stick with the V8. You'll be happy with a V8 Dakota, even a stock one. You came to an excellent website with a lot of good guys here who know their Dakotas inside and out.
