Just wanted to pass along some information that I found through Dodge today. I've had recent problems of a rattle inside my cat.Loose beads in the catalyst. I looked for an aftermarket cat, but couldn't find one that was compliant with EPA regulations. I found that Dodge(local dealership) has them ($659)but will replace them free within 8 years or 80,000 miles. Also found that this is a common occurence with '97-'99 Dodge Dak's and Durangos. Thought I would pass this info along. Thanks to Bernd and Bob* for your help on this. You guys rule!

I heard the same thing,But if you've had a deffrent exhaust put on they said it should be clamped on,If it's welded they said they wouldn't cover.I don't know how far they would push it though..
