I have a 1992-1993 dodge dakota with a 5.2 liter engine i went out one mornig it would not start. we gave it a tune up except plug wires and nothing. replaced coil started wright up and ran great. now It is running really rich, wont rev, and floods, itself out after a few miutes. can keep it running a while with the throttle, but after a minute or so were it usually floods out the auto shut down starts trying to shut it down as well. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like a map sensor or vaccuum hose to it,
the faster you run the motor the better it runs

Check your hoses again. You may have all the hoses connected, but in doing all the work to get it going again, you just might have put a crack in one of them.

I say 92 or 93 because it was built very late in 92 and takes mostly 93 parts when I order them.

92 and 93 were almost identical. minor differences. and if it was built in 92, then its a 93 model year. especially if it was late 92.

well check the map sensor o2 sensor and tps it's one or a combination of those 3 things to run get the codes out it's in the hanes manual.

rev it to around 2400 rpm cycle the a/c on then off then step on the brake and run through all the gears then go back to park switch the key off then on then off then on again and have a piece of paper ready. cound blinks pause count more blinks then long pause than another code. ask someone here to direct you to a code list

the hanes manual explains it better than I do

if theres a hole in a vacum line you feel the ac start to suck air from cab under hard load(you can hear it to)

best bet o2 sensor or map sensor
map=$135 for mopar
o2=$55 for off brand

had same problem except not as bad turned out to be the map sensor and it did die on me going down the road.
