My truck seems to be idling a little on the high side and I'm wondering if this normal. It idles when I first start it and let it sit for about 60 seconds at about 750-850 rpm, and when it's stopped at a light in drive it's probably around 650-750. When I go from drive to park the rpm's jump up to 1000+ and then usually settle back down to about 1000 or so.

My '00 R/T sits at about 600-700 stopped in gear. Even when it's cold it doesn't idle at 1000+. I'd get it looked at or maybe have a scan done. Good Luck
