does any one recommend a larger tire size then the stock tire for a 2003 4.7, i was thinking the bfgoodrich t/a ko all-terrain. but not sure if increaseing the size would help with out lifting the truck.

2 or 4wd? My dad's got some BFG All Terrains on his 4.7 4wd. They're a nice tire. Go with 31's or equivalent for the metric if yours is 4wd. 32's might rub. Tried putting mine on his truck just to see, and they were too close for comfort.
But then again if your's is 4wd just cank up ur T-bars and you should be good!

I have an '01 QC and I'm running 265/75/16 General Grabber AT2. They look identical to BFG All Terrains and are a lot cheaper, they even come with holes for mounting studs. So far since when I mounted them in August, they work well in all weather.

Man i got a 00 Sport 4.7, I put 33x12.5x15s Thornbird TSLs on it with no problem. Cut a little out of your fender wells, and th eonly rubbing youll have is really during hard left hand turns.
