Which would be better? Has any one made the switch? ANy suggestions. I know the speedtweaks
v8 one is $20 cheaper but, how does it perform.
I read the conversion chart but didn't really understand it. How hard are these to install.

help would be greatfull.

I don't know too much about the Fastman TB, but I heard some nice comments. The stock V8 TB is just that, a stock 48mm TB. Installation is relatively easy. Just follow the directions. The Fastman TB is a modified v6 TB (I think). You have to fork over a core charge as security and you will get it back once you send in your old stock V6 TB. There are nice gains with any TB mod and 48mm TB is not too big for the 3.9L. You'll not lose end torque.

I put the F&B on years ago. It's a 30 minute swap. Hardest part is swapping out the sensors cause the screws are so damn tight.

The V8 body has 50mm plates 48mm torque step
and offer good mid and top end gains low end
remains about the same.

46mm Fastman is a moded stock body bored to 46mm
almost identical gains as the F&B not a noticeable
diff between the 2 the F&B did show more torque
but not hp in dyno test comparison, 10 foot pounds
thats all.

48mm F&B is a new unit made from a solid chunk of
Alm, the 48mm was designed specifically for the 3.9
V6 and offers the best gains off idle to red line
of any aftermarket throttle body, also crisper response
for the enthusiast who wants to squeezes every ounce
out of there V6

the 46mm and 48mm also offer instant noticeable
gains as soon as you bolt them on and get even
better in a few hundred miles

one of these bodies and a cold air setup will
give you an easy noticeable 15hp at the wheels
better performance and gas mileage
