!69,000 and first breakdown, all I've done is kept the fluids, filters, belt, and routine stuff up. 1992 Dakota 3.9 Turbo EFI 2wd Auto.

1994 Dakota 4WD Sport. 162,000. Runs great.
Replaced Fuel pump, starter, seals in front axle, water pump and noral maintenace. Still running with orginal exhaust. Need to replace radiator and shocks........

120K 97 3.9 manual regular maintenance and a little "monkeying" does wonders!
If it doesn't fit, force it. If it breaks...well...it needed to be replaced anyway.

I have 187,433 on my 1988, but I did a reman on the engine at 172,000 the truck its self is still in very good shape.

214,000 on my 88, bought new.Replaced engine at 182,000 due to failed oil pump.Rebuilt trans. once.On 4th set of tires with original front end and never a frontend alignment.Best vehicle I ever owned.

1999 3.9 CC SLT bought new (only 1 mile on the odometer). 120,000 miles now. Perform regular maintenance: oil changes every 3,000 miles, tranny fluid, coolant, plugs, wires, etc. Had A/C compressor replaced last August and water pump replaced 2 years ago. Getting new paint job within the next month or so...paint wearing off of roof and hood. Paid off for over 5 years, hope to get 250,000 miles or more out of it.

I traded in my old 95 SLT CC 4x4 3.9L V6 with almost 170k miles on it for my current 02 QC 4x4 with 4.7L V8 with 85k. I'll hit 100k probably in another year.
I've seen the old 95 around town a couple times, she's still adding miles.

1994 Shortbed and standard cab v6 auto 3.91 rearend, v8 tb, headers, msd ignition, msd wires and msd coil, running the autolite 3923s, magnaflow cat and muffler, K&N airfilter, Amsoil synthetics in engine, tranny and diffential. All orignal engine except for waterpump, timming chain, dist. drive gear and bushing, new crank and cam sensors and fuel pump. I have 223,150 mi. on the truck and it still get 16 to 18 around town and 21 to 23 mpg freeway. It's starting to use alittle oil.

Original owner of a 1997 Dakota Club Cab 4x4, 3.9L V-6 with 206,000+ miles on it. As for my 2005 Dakota Quad Cab 4x4, 4.7L H/O that only has 16,000 miles on it. It has some catching up to do...I have pictures of the 97 odometer but don't have the knowledge to post them up on here...

I have 185K miles on my 99 3.9 Sport. At 140K I replaced all of the cooling sys components, I have replaced the 3-4 shift solenoid and ball joints. With the exception of paint, interior, engine and body mods I have not had to do much to it. It is running very STRONG.

94 sport reg cab 5spd.
148,000
did the timing chain added tensioner
(grew tired of the rattle)
and redid the whole emissions system earlier this year high flow, cat O2 & EGR
love this truck
the most faithful thing on 4 wheels
