Well, if it a 4X4 you can use the same tranny from 87-91 but if it is a 2X4 only 87-88 bolt directly on... Try going to a junk/salvage yard like Pick and Pull if you have one near you($150 flat)
If it ain't broke, fix it til it is.

Basically Cuzzindoug is correct. If you absolutely can't afford a Mopar rebuild (much higher quality), then the junkyard is probably your best bet. You're still gambling with the quality of the part you're getting though...

man trans will sell a rebuilt unit shipped to your door for less than 900 bucks. look them up under man trans.com
