I am going to the tracks next Friday and was wondering who will win. I am gonna clock the truck stock to see what gains I get later with the additions I hope to get. I am betting my friend that I will win. He has a 5 speed 4 cyl. 96 VW Golf w/ Intake Exhaust and a chip. I have a 2001 V6 4x4 club cab dakota with the small stock 4x4 rims and tires and a I have a soft tonneau cover. Just wondering who you guys think will win. Mahalo.

well from what i heard
the 4x4 are slow not to mention the club cab
dont bet any money those little golfs are really
light compared to your heavy dak

I think that you would stand a much better chance against it if you had the genII dakota..They are lighter..My bro has a 2001 golf turbo and it weighs about 2,900 lbs. compared to my dakota that weights about 3,600 lbs. GenIII's are about 500 lbs more than GenII's with 5 less hp from what I've seen through specs, but good luck..hope you win.
