Is there a club on or near Whidbey Island Wa.? I am a new Dak owner and already looking to Mod. Would like to get with a group of Dak owners and get some ideas. Plus knowing that they have good tast in Trucks. I can say this. I also have a 78 Ford F250 highboy. Been parked for a year and a half cause one after another thing breaks.
2001 Blk 4.7 4x4 auto.
1st mod so far. K&N cold air intake (and love it)

You have a cold air intake made by K&N? or you have a K&N Drop in filter? Last I heard there was no Cold Air Intake made by K&N for the 4.7. PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong that's one thing I NEED! to get finished.

NOT a drop in. It is the intake. Got it off of E-Bay. You have to make sure it is the one for the 4.7. I won the wrong one tried to put it in. Lucky the gut I won it from let me send it back and get the 4.7 intake. Let me tell you one thing. First mod I have done and O.M.G. it works.

DakAttack 4.7 , is your truck a test truck? Also,are your sure its not a homemade intake with a K&N cone filter? The reason I ask is,I have e-mailed K&N repeatedly(I think they are ticked at me)and they have not released the intake for the 4.7 yet. They told me 2 weeks ago to look for it in around 90 days. But they also told me that last Christmas soooo.

I am not big on automotive stuff. I am learning now because of my first new truck. It does not look had made but then again it could be. If it is and the one for the 4.7 from K&N give more power. I will not be able to save $ from all the tires I buy. In other words if this is home made. It rocks. Look on E-Bay. The seller was sndnsnw@aol.com He also gives pictures.
