I found this brand @ asechips.com

They make sparkplugs with a silver electrode... I'm gonna change mine out tomorrow, if I can find these, I'm gonna give em a try... Unless someone can tell me a good reason not to?

Yes they have been around a while. I would not use them. Silver is a soft metal and is never used as a conductor. When is the last time you saw silver plated RCA jacks or silver plated computer terminal.......To the best of my knoldge they have never won a nationaly sanctioned event either. I also would stay far far away from anyone trying to sell you a Nology ignition system!!! Coper is about as good as it gets for a transmission stand point and platnium is great for long service life! Iridium is great as a thick electrode for extended service but the then wire iridiums have same life span as coper electrode but require 30% less energy to spark. 30% less energy to spark does not mean more power what it means is that as RPM climb past 6000 RPM's and your spark energy tarts to drop off you will still be produceing a hot spark. I doubt most american made vechiles have much use for a thin iridum electrode design. The thick electrode iridiums can go over 140,000 miles with out being changed! If you want power spark plugs are not the place to make it!!

I'm changing mine out, because it's that time... And my performance and gas mileage has gone down somewhat.

Tomorrow, I'm gonna change the oil, and while I'm at it, the plugs. I've heard a lot that Autolite 3923's are the way to go, so I am gonna get those tomorrow; Also thinking about adding a 180 t-stat, but I'm not sure... Thanks for the feedback.:) Could have made a mistake...
