i have a 2000 dodge dakota sport 3.9 v6 i was wondering if i can put a throttle body off a 4.7 v8 on it and will it help with gas mileage

No you can not put a TB off of a 4.7 on your V6. You can how ever put a TB off a 5.2 or a 5.9 on your V6. I just did that this weekend. Got a TB of a 99 dakota rt from a junk yard for 50 bucks. much more throttle responce but not sure about that gas yet. will know by the end of the week. im sure it will help the gas mileage since im getting a more efficient burn now.
