I'm not pretending anything, nor am I hinting at anything. After all your bad behaviour, I'm coming straight out and declaring that you are a phony. When you say it is time to move on, but continue to post your rude rants - you have in fact, been caught. It's much easier for you to deride your adversaries than to have a rational debate when presenting an argument as weak as yours, isn't it ?
And as for your phony claim about not counting on others to help you, do you have health insurance, and insurance on your vehicles ? Insurance on your business ? Those are ways you are counting on others to help you - by spreading the risk among a pool of others. The guys that work for you, that you have posted so proudly about how - if we think you are bad here, we should see you at work ? Yup, those are others you are counting on to help you.
I'm not surprised that you continue to post after declaring it's time to move on though. With your comment about the "black democrat", it sounds like you are still fighting the civil war. That ended generations ago. And your comment about the "stinkin communist democrat" ? Reminiscent of the cold war, that one's over too.

I really cant think of too many times the government has "saved" me money, put the pipe down and get real. Once the G men get their sticky little dickbeaters into the pot no one saves anything, costs will rise and rise and rise then its the usual "oops we under estimated the costs" and we get hung out to dry. You always talk about "rational discussion" yet you never budge one single stinkin inch off your talking points.....i dont call that rational.

For anyone who wants to keep asking me if I have read the bill, I have a question for you. How can you reconcile the obvious distortions from the right that have been poiinted out ? It is not reasonable for you to expect an answer to all your questions from me if you are unwilling or unable to answer mine.
Now, naming a governmant program that worked is easy - regulation of the financial industry. We have all seen how expensive a mess was created recently as those regulations were continually erroded by members of both of our largest political parties. We have paid dearly for the lifting of those regulations.

Not a government bill, not a government regulation but a "government program" thats where the government starts a program to benefit its citizens, then runs it efficiently.Problem is when you dont have competition you dont have to run efficiently, and thats our good ol uncle sam, they are the biggest blundering bunch of buffoons out there, they cant run anything.....much less healthcare.You trust government......i dont.

You are mistaken when you make the claim that I trust the government. I have already stated clearly that I do not - just that I trust them more than big business. Part of the problem right now is that there is not enough competition in many markets in the insurance industry.

It's not that simple, bucket. Government is constantly evolving. I am hoping that if it gets in, people will turn their efforts to improving it and making it work - instead of wasting effort on a hurtful campaign of distortion. What you need to understand here is simply that I trust big business like the insurance industry even less than the government. Try thinking about it that way, instead of trying to put words in my mouth. Most of the countries that have better health care than us for less money have national health care. Don't forget my challenge guys - document that is untrue and I will stop posting in advocacy of a national health plan. That's a much more generous offer than any of you have made to stop posting distorted information. In fact, none of you have offered anything like that.

As for the goverment run healthcare systems around the world-ALL are bankrupting their countrys. France taxes at nearly 50% and their economy has been stagnet for decades.Canade rations treatments and so does England. England has boards that desides when and if the elderly gets a treatment such as a knee or hip joint replace. Some never get them. They are consittered too old for the goverment to get a return on their investment. This is the dark alley you want to take us down. The bbbc has done many articles on the deplorable conditions of the public hospitals in england. From plane poor cleaning to women having babys in the halls for the lack of beds. They import doctors from second and third world contrys so they can pay them less. Here in the US, tthe northern states have many canadians in their hospitals because they can,t get treatment in their own country in a timely manor. As far as intenton of this goverment-Obama has been shown in at least three past speeches calling for full goverment control. he said that he is willing to START with just a public option. Step by set, they are coming for you. Be afraid of goverment bearing gifts(that you MUST pay for).

I see the anonymous distorter is still trying to twist things and engaging in rude name calling. Hardly the path to progress.
When I say it is a distortion to claim the health bill will give free care to illeagles when that is something they are already getting - that is a fact.
When I say it is a distortion to claim it will lead to health care rationing, when that is something the insurance companies are already doing, that is a fact.
France has such a high tax rate because the people there don't have much of a work ethic - they work less than us, so that is why they get taxed more.
It is time for us to find a better way. We could make better progress if the republicans would work on improving the systems that those countries that rank above us are using, instead of employing stalling tactics. It would be much more productive to work together, than to call people names.

There is wording in the bill (Please read it)that will lead to illegals being covered. You NEVER answered about the DEMS removing the admendment made by repubs, to put in CLEAR wording that illegals can not be covered. If the dem goal is not to cover illegals-why remove the amendment? Same for the abortion coverage! Why remove the admendment. Dems plan to cover both. If a insur. company will not cover it-you can pay for it yourself and still get the procedure you need. In goverment care (Hillerys care plan), its illegal to seek the care outside the system. Canada is set up this way. Both the doc and the person seeking help are breaking the law. Because of the shortage of goverment help-the canadian goverment is turning a blind eye to doctors opening privite offices for self paying customers. France is taxed that high because the goverment supposidly pays for everything when its the tax payer that pays for bad everything the goverment is involved in. If we go down this path- YOU and I will pay vastly higher med bills for long waits and poorer care. EVERY contry that does this has long waits and higher goverment costs.. The repubs have put forth many admendments and plans, They are told to shutup and set down, the dems won. Reid, palo. and obama want their way and their way only. And for You and OBAMA to say the repubs lie, that we are mobs and nazis(polos. words)is not getting along to me. You throw rocks and complain when we throw them back. Sad...
