Yes, Cantondak, so far I've added the Yamaha lower cowl, NWS rear hugger, Zero Gravity windscreen, gel grips, jet kit, and Yosh race can. I just ordered an undertail, rear seat cowl, and radiator shroud yesterday. DAYUM bike parts are expensive compared to Dak parts! lol

I like the FJ's too! Very kewl!

I used to have a Hurricane 600 (now called the CBR)...Vance & Hines exhaust, Cnanadian Cam, Cam advancer, Dyno-Jets kit and relocated the turn signals, removed the rear fender stripped it down to 400lbs (light for back then) and after all that (95hp to 105hp and dropped 26 lbs) it got ripped off. Right out from under my screen door while I was sleeping (about 4 feet away)...thats the last road bike I'll invest in!

hey kris
how do you like your vfr. i just bought me an 87 vfr700f2. i love this thing. it will haul butt plus some. ran one of my buddies katana 700 and he wasn't getting around me. have you done anything to yours? i found out after i had bought it that alot of people are having problem with the regulator/rectifier unit going out on them, mainly due to heat from what i have read. don't know why honda would have put it under the seat anyways. i moved mine up front over-top of the oil cooler, it stays alot cooler now. before after riding you couldn't even hardly touch it. you had any probs. with yours?

Buck- yup, I have had the bike for 5 years and have went through 2 rectifiers...it is because of the heat though. I haven't had the chance to move it because it is sitting my my soon to be ex-wife's garage. I hope to get it running again soon. I miss the old thing.

mine left me sitting the other day. lucky i wasn't far from home. it burned up the r/r unit. i found a site that sells a lower output stator and a heavy duty r/r unit. think i'm going to invest in them.

On the 2nd rectifier, I used a slightly bigger one from a 1989 Hurricane. It worked and laste me almost 3 years, then it petered out.

Last TOY I totaled was a 1979 Yamaha XS11, i hit a F250 x-cab broad side in the driver door that pulled out in front of me in Hot Springs, AR,
Shattered Knee, broke arm, banged head.

The next to last TOY was a 1979 Honda CBX-1100 6 Cylinder, i hit a '74 malibu chevelle broad side in the back driver side door that pulled out in front of me. Stuck the whole bike in the back seat, I went across the top and broke every bone in my left foot and 3 bones in my right foot.
This happened in Shreveport, LA.

The first accident TOY i owned was a 1976 Yamaha YZ-250, I got hit broad side by a '67 Pontiac Catalina, pointed noise that run a stop sign and crushed my left ankle and broke my left arm and fractured my skull.
This happened in Shreveport, LA.

I owned a Yamaha YZ-80, YZ-125, TT-500, '76 Honda-360T, '87 Honda Hurricane 1000, '90 FZR 600 Genisis, '93 Yamaha FZR 1000.

My wife says if I even think about getting another TOY, I can take my grip out the door with me to go buy it.
