Here in NJ, its hard to get a gun permit. You even need a permit to fish here. Extra if you want to catch a trout.

Message: Oh yeah! Orlando is the best. Out of all those shows, I would have to say Orlando is one of the better ones. Hank is pretty great too. I was waiting for the show on a Dale Ernhard after he died since they were pretty close and he had been on Hank's show a few times in the past.

Message: I have always wanted to hunt whitetails, especially those big northern bucks. All we have here in California are blacktails and muleys. I dont bowhunt because I have yet to get a buck with a rifle. Next month I plan on getting a sweet new rifle with the money I get back from Uncle Sam.

Message: Oh yeah I hunt and fish. Thats why I have a truck, and not a car. I tend to lean more toward duck hunting now, more than deer or other small game. I've done a little in the past, and my friends are all leaning toward bird hunting; pheasant, quail, grousse... right now turkey is in season. Did some walleye fishin fri night (water is way to low, didn't have any luck).
Good to see some fellow hunter/fishermen on board.

Message: we hunt and fish here in NWohio and on Lake Erie. Tho for the last year I have givin up hunting. Not because of a bad experience but because my wife and 18 yr. old daughter have done a lot better "hunting" then I have. Both of them have gone on a deer drive and have been successful. Deer Drive???? yea they go driving down the hiway till some deer runs out in front of them and they drive it down and kill it. It has cost my insurance company over $6000 to fix both cars, Omni and a Concorde, (a real Chrysler family) but at least I did not have to pay the $35 it costs for a hunting license and a deer tag for Ohio residents.

Message: Andrew-
what do i shoot for deer? no rifles allowed in indiana. I just shoot at 'em with my 12 guage, slug barrel. Remington 870 express, nothin fancy. Does a knock down job though...
I do a lot of hunting and fishing on lake monroe south of bloomington. lots of places to fish, and they have a nice reserve, where a guy can get a look (and sometimes shoot) at the ducks...

Message: Bob from NJ.
I like to fish, do mostly fresh water fishing. Like to take an occassional salt water chater boat trips for fluke and bluefish.
The hunting I have done is primarily phesant hunting. Have bagged a few of them. A lot of times I just take the shotgun for a walk as no birds are flushed.
Tried goose hunting before without an acceptable shot to take.
Have not tried deer hunting yet but have all the necessary equipment.
It is difficult to hunt in this state unless you know someone with private property.
I am limited to public hunting grounds so these areas are somewhat overhunted and somewhat dangerous to be. Already have experienced many lead shot raindrops while out in these areas.
Good fishing and hunting to you all.
Bob
