Oh, who could forget the first terminator? When LInda Hamilton looked hot riding her scooter?
ALiens? hmmm sequel as good as the original.
What about the MAC?
New COke and OLd Coke?
Ronald and Nancy hanging in the whitehouse?
When Russia (USSR) had a guy running the place with a red spot on his head? Like Jupiter?
Must not forget ET....I want to phone home when I think about it.....but only to tell Dad the Thing with Kurt Russell and Poltergeist absolutely scared the hell out of me, unlike the Friday 13th flicks which I rented/saw just to see how much skin would be shown for Rated R!!!!!
BTW....I challenge ANYONE who posted to GALAGA!!!
I totally rocked at that game and I still got game even after all these years.....so step up brothas and sistas.....and get ready!

What about the heyday of Bon Jovi? And Pat Benatar. Those where the growing up days of the WWF. Remember when Hulk Hogan was bigtime, and Andre the Giant vs. Mr. T? And Cyndi Lauper got into wrestling?
When it comes to video games, I was OK at Galaga. My game was JOUST! I have scored well over 100,000 points on that game several times. I can still do it today!
Those were the days of Parachute Pants!

Message: I remember watching The Pukes of Hazzard every Friday night, followed by The Incredible Hulk! NOW THAT WAS COOL! The best music I thought came from Iron Maiden! Number two was the Crue. Of course, Dr. FeelGood bumped them even higher!
What about the conversion from 8-tracks to cassettes? And how CD's came along shortly after.
Beta vs. VHS???? LOL!!! I remember how worried and scared Hollywood was when it was announced that home movies would damage their revenues at the Box Office. HA! I think mp3's have done the same thing to the music business - nothing but positive for the industry!
I hated Max Headroom! STUPID!!! I think "Jolt" was started in the 80's.

Superman movies were awesome,

Anyone remember when you could get a 19" B&W boob tube?
I loved the Stupes of Hazard........Daisy was every teenage boys dream! Plus that Dodge Charger.....now yer talking muscle car! But those cut offs......that out to be REQUIRED attire for every southern gal!
Or what about when the Challenger blew up? that was a sad day for everyone, but Ronnie somehow pulled us thru with his rock solid belief in America.
Oh, were those the days.........
