 Subject: Shifting slow

I have a 00 dakota sport Quad Cab 4.7 that when its cold it shifts out of 1st at 2500 rpm when its warmed up it will shift out of 1st around 1500. I'm not lead footed I easy it up to 35 mph asked dealer about this shifting issue and they assured me this "could" be normal..

Has anyone else noticed this.

Test drove 01 and did not see high rpm when cold.
