Message: I realize this is probably a dumb question, but why doesn't dodge advertise this car on their commericials? Also, why does it look so much like a mitsubishi? did the mitsu-bishi-spider guys make this car too?

Message: Chrysler owns a very large percentage of Mitsubishi, way more then half, and Dodge never "made" a Stealth, it was a re-badged Mitsibishi 3000 GT bi-turbo, thats right it had two blowers, one for each side of the engine, which, used the same block with minor modifications as the 3.0 minivan engine, and could blow the doors off any stock, same year Corvette.
Now here's a question for silvdak17, Why in the world would anyone advertise a product they have not sold for 8 model years, seems a bit stupid eh? just like the original ? was.

DaimlerChrysler AG of Stuttgart, Germany owns 37% of Mitsubishi Motors.

Message: once again a moron has chimed in with something he knows nothing about, during the time that the Mitsibishi 3000 GT was in production CHRYSLER owned 54 % of Mitsubishi and DaimlerBenz AG of Stuttgart, Germany was NO WHERE IN THE PICTURE. Since DB did not own Chrysler at the time of production of the vehicle what are you trying to claim? DB built it? Chrysler stopped importing it in '96 and was taken over by by DB now refered to as DC in '98! so the statement that "There is no such company as Chrysler" in the context of the conversation about a product that said company owned and produced is uterly without merit. Sounds to me you believe that McDonnel Douglas built the first Wright Flyer,
For Burke,
1, the first and only vehicle ever advertised and sold in the USA to the general public with four wheel steering was and is a General Motors product called a pickup truck.
2, all wheel drive was standard on the Stealth bi-turbo not an "available" option

Message: in 1988 the honda prelude si was available with 4 wheel steering
At low speeds the rear wheels turn in opposite direction of the front wheels for a much tighter turning radius.
At high speeds the rear wheels turn in the same direction as the fronts to be able to move in and out of traffic during rush hour with ease.

and my friend is the one who told me the r/t and the 3000gt vr4 were available with 4 wheel steering but i had never seen it
he was obsessed with those cars and did noting but research on them so i listened to him
he owns a 92 stealth es non turbo and because he had that car he did nothing but eat, sleep, and research stealth/3000 gt so i caught on to a lil bit of info but not too much
i just thought id have a lil input

Message: "Chrysler owns a very large percentage of Mitsubishi, way more then half..." Had you wanted to stay in the context of the thread you would have said, "Chrysler owned a large percentage blah blah blah"
That is your statement, both made in the present tense. Even when Chrysler owned part of mitsubishi, it was never more than 34%. Simply put, you're wong and just trying to back peddle.
You're an ignoronus; that's somebody who's both an @sshole and stupid.
Merry Christmas, you stupid lying fcuking ignoranus.

Message: Am I to take it that you're taking this car from US to canada? I honestly don't know what Canada requires that the US does not. I know from friends that it shouldn't be anything too major though- it's not uncommon for cars to cross the borders pretty regularly.
Maybe you have a ministry of transportation or some other authority you could ask? I've never been to Canada.

Message: Being stateside, I really don't know any resources, nor do I know of any customers we had that moved to or lived in the UK. Good luck with your car. The stealth is basically a mitsubishi 3000 GT, but there are minor sheet metal diferances that might not make the headlights interchangeable between the two...
