I currently have our thermostat set to 82 degrees from 6:30am to 3pm, then it goes to 81 degrees from 3-5, then at 5 it goes down to 79. I'll probably kick it down to 77 when I get home.

I think tomorrow I will change it again, setting it to 82 degrees still from 6:30 to 3, then at 80 from 3-5 then at 78 at 5pm.

Before all of this crap, I normally I had it set at 80 from 6:30-3, then 77 at 2pm, then 76 from 4pm-6:30am. After this is all resolved, I probably won't go back to running it quite that cold.

It's interesting seeing the news reports telling us the available amount of power and the amount we're using.

Right now we have got 21,743 megawatts available to us (plus a bit more if need be, they can buy from Quebec and the US) As of 1pm we're using 18,600 megawatts.

The peak time is typically 5pm though, that's when we reached the maximum yesterday.

They did say that Ontario has been using 20% less energy this week.
