Have you guys seen the 2004 Nissan Titan truck? What do you guys think of it?

I never thought of the Toyota Tundra because of it's smaller size. Yet, the Nissan is gonna be a serious rival in the Big 3 American truck market.

I like what I see. If they can price it similarly to the Big 3, I'd go for it. I was looking to upgrade as my Dak comes into the 36,000 mile range anyway. I love my Dak, but it's but me into the shop so many times, I'd love the reliability of a real, full sized truck.

Anyway, just my opinion........what is yours!!!

PS. My Subaru Baja ROCKS! for those that know I got one several months back. I love it......

Where do you get Dodge at?

Why not Ford, Chevy, Dodge, GMC. The big 4?

The big 3 were
GM
Ford
Chrysler.

But know sence Chrysler sold themselves out on us "killed Plymouth" then you might say there the 1/2.

I agree. GMC was making trucks before Chevy. After all. Didn't GMC have the very first Qaud steer truck? I think that the Sirra Denoli is a great buy if you got the money to spend. But, Hey I see quite a few people drivin the new H2's.

Chevy is owned by Gmc! Just like Cadillac is owned by GMC. So therefore the Big 3 would be what "duh" said. GMC, FORD and Dodge

thats not entirely correct my friend... GMC is just another division of GM just like Caddy,Chevy, pontiac etc. Gmc's and Chevy trucks are built on identical platforms. Gmc trucks are mated with non truck available divisions ,so those customers have access to a truck,as in Pontiac... You wil find VERY,VERY few stand alone GMC dealers anymore. If I remember correctly, a few years ago GM, made Pontiac GMC's cotroling division. thats why most of the newer GMC stores also are at Pontiac dealers. internal politics driven I guess. hope this clears up a little confusion, no big deal, just trying to help. Now I of course expect even the most dummest of people to know that. But the fact is. GMC was building trucks before Chevy. And Chevrolet truck is basicly a downsized GMC.

Since you guys agree Chevy (Pontiac, Cad etc) are owned by GMC, then it should be FORD, GMC, and CHRYSLER not Dodge (since Chrysler owns dodge).

Hey Victor, not only have I seen those new Nissans, I've test driven a couple. If I were going to trade in my Dakota right now, it would be that Titan. I was very impressed with the power and the equipment (like an electronic locking rear differential). The thing is, I'm not ready to trade in my truck today and it seems to me like there is a truck war going on. You buy a truck this year and next year a competitor is going to have something nicer. I suspect the the truck market will be difficult to keep up with for at least another couple of years. Its not like past years when you could buy a truck and it was pretty much the same as one 5 years old and the only difference was that the odometer read "0".

They are the only American Automoblie companies. They all also have sharred parts with other foregn companies. For example Saab shares GM parts and Mazda shares a lot with Ford.

I thought chrysler also owns (or partners) with mistubishi, like how for partners with mazda. I know chrysler and mitsu own a plant called The Dimond Star off the cost of the main island of Japan (near Toke-eo).
