I was looking at the new 2002's and on the SLT the tilt steering and cruise control aren't part of the package-even on the SLT+. What all did you get on yours?

I never looked for tilt (the wheel was in the right place) but it doesn't have cruise control. I never used cruise control on my grand prix anyways. I got the manual door locks and windows to keep the costs down. I did get the heavy duty type options and the wheel and tire package though.

Nope, no tilt. From the inside the car looks like a really base model, from kthe outside it looks nice, from behind a launch it looks sweet. :)

Yea, DC really changed the SLT/SLT+ package around . I got the 2001 SLT It came with Mats, Deluxe conveniience group(Tilt/Cruise). This years SLT has the Power Convenience Group(Electric windows/door locks/keyless entry. The SLT+ has the mats, deluxe convenience group, but no power convenience group AND it has CD/ Tire and handling group, and fog lamps.
Go FIgure....

My SLT came with Chrome Grill and bumpers, no cruise, power windows, or even floormats. No, I ended up being awuss and got the 3.55s. (I only found out about this place after ordering). I kinda skimped out on the convinience options to keep the price down and got most of the HD type options instead.

Dude, I wasn't bustin' on you, the SLT was a great package but now DC is skimping on what made the SLT such a nice package and turned it into a "Sport" with chrome. You probobly did the wise thing keeping the price low, 0% financing and the 3.55 for better MPG. What color? Must look sweet with the flares and 16" wheels. I'm getting all jealous danm I got four years and two months more of payments! I'll just have to tough it out with my '01 Patriot Blue SLT RC.

I never thought you were busting on the SLT setup. Just explaining the options I chose.

Saweet! Very cool color! Love the wheels and flares!I gotta get some way to post a pic. I was at the 4adodge website so if price were no object that graphite color looks cool! I set up the two tone deal with the silver flares-I gotta finish my residency soon! I've been doing research since July and will be starting the last two years of family practice in January. So by the time I finish I'll be ready for a new truck. Although, the bank will be calling by then-$127,000 in loans! And the missus will be wantin' to squeeze out some puppies! I need some Maalox!
