The Tomahawk features four-wheel independent suspension, and the superbike's engine, borrowed from the Viper sports car, can propel it at speeds of nearly 400 mph. (Rebecca Cook/Reuters)

Message: I just read an article on this on Yahoo News. It may not be just a concept. Dodge is seriously considering building this in the next few months!!!!Yes, Seriously. The article says it would be a limited production of a few hundred of them at about $250,000 each. 0-60 in 2.5 sec. Maybe Evel Knievel will try to jump the Snake River Canyon again on one of these.

Message: That Lake Superior comment made me think of other stupid stunts people have attempted. Has anyone ever seen Faces Of Death where this moron tries to jump the Mississippi river in a rocket powered Lincoln, I think it was a Mark IV. Anyway, he launches off the ramp and the Lincoln, not being one of the most aerodynamic of automobiles, points straight up in the air and then plummets back to Earth, landing about 10 ft into the river on the same side he took off from. The car landed right side up, pretty squarely in the river and the guy still suffered a broken back. This lead me to pose the question: What did he think was going to happen if he made it and landed on the other side of the river on the ground? I think screwing up actually may have saved his life. Well, I just thought you may enjoy that story. I think I'll start a new thread on that topic and see what happens.

Message: Hell I was watching speed vision last night and I saw the one thing that could probably beat this thing (if supplied the appropriate gas instead of deisel) Jay Leno drives a bike called the Y2K this thing is powered by a helicopter engine .. read as jet powered. Imagine something designed to pick up a 10000 pound pice of metal up, instead pushing a 430lb (yes 430 lb, the motor alon weighs 130lbs) into the next state. Not included is that fact that the Y2K looks COOL, it looks like it was sired by K.I.T.T. and the only thing its missing is the cool light bar on the front end.

The engineering is flawless! This bike is so well balanced, powerful and has extremely great road manners you would not believe. I was told that mine is number 12 in existance and the final numbers of bikes produced will probably be around 100. Yes, it costs $250,000.

01 RT - How can say the Boss Hoss Cycle is a muscle bike compared to the Dodge Viper V10. Nothing will touch the Tomahawk in a drag race! The bar has been raised.
Tiger Dak. Yes its my bike. My father has worked for Dodge (Now, Daimler-Chrysler) for many years and has connections. I was offered an opportunity to get the bike so I put a second mortgage on the house to get it. I consider it the best investment anyone on earth can get. Only a very select few collectors will have this opportunity.
I have had a dude from Germany offer me $350,000 for the bike the day after I bought it for $250,000. They are now considering my counter offer for $500,000. If they accept that deal, then the bike is going to Germany. I should know something in the next few days.

The main reason is the looks. The Tomahawk is one ugly looking bike(regardless of what it runs in the 1320').Second,the 502 Big Block Boss Hoss cant be too far off in power. The 502 puts out over 500hp,stock. Not to mention, the Boss Hoss actually LOOKS like a motorcycle, where as the Tomahawk looks like they fed Mad Max some LSD,and asked him to design a bike.
If you do have one, good for you. I'm sure they're going to be a very collectable piece....good luck with it.
