Ok here's a update for all of you guys.. Truckin-Suspension will no longer work with me on this.. Ian just hung up on me saying they want the lift back from me.

I do NOT! recommend working with them at all on anything. Unless you SEE not talk to but SEE there product installed on someone else’s truck and you want the exact same product.

They paid Michael Briant the $500 for the install.... Which if I remember correctly wasn't done correctly or finished for that matter. He left when he cut off the wrong brackets in the rear.

Truckin-Suspension also sent me Black Powercoated Nerf Bars which.. the powder coat is falling off of. The actual bars look good and feel good but the powder coat sucks. I also didn't order Black bars.. I wanted Raw.

Truckin-Suspension will not help me find another installer and they won't pay or help pay to move my truck to a install shop. They also won't pay that install shop or work with them to fix this problem. They got there $1300 and are now running.

If anyone has any questions or comments about this.. please post.. I'd love to hear them... Yes.. even the "I told you so".. just because I want to see EVERYONES comments.

If you have a current order pending.. I'd try and cancle now .. before you get the wrong parts.
Post over here...

Bah.. here's the update... nothing good though..

My truck is sitting at Mikes off-road I tried to take a picture but my digital camera ran out of batteries and I had no cash to stop by the store. Anyway middle of next week and they should be able to get to it. I don't think after I thought about it again that it'll take them more then a full day or possible two if they have to let some paint dry (new parts came bare metal instead of red-powder coated... I'm glad they aren't red) anyway That's how my truck sits right now.

BTW if you guys are intrested in getting a winch. They get re-manufactured Ramsey winches they quoted me $550 for the 9000 rp.

So if your looking for a winch.. and you don't mind a re-manufactured version... Let me know I'll check the price for you.

I agree with Ron, it's lawsuit time.
Sue'em for the downtime on your truck (find out what it would cost to rent a pick-up locally an mulitply that by the number of days your truck was down)
Sue'em for the cost of towing
Sue'em for the cost of install
Sue'em for punitive damages due to breach of contract

Hopefully after you win the lawsuit, you will have a free lift and money left over for more mods.

Good Luck

Correct that's Dpkerns truck it's a 6.5" kit with 15x10" wheels and 33x12.5x15 tires. Rubbing problems, Alignment has never been fixed and brake lines have broken.

If you call Truckin-Suspension and ask them about the lift... they'll tell you flat out that everyone that bought it LOVES it and there haven't been any problems.... BS! have they even seen the 2 trucks that have that lift?....

My truck will be in Arizon this friday for a week. I am dropping it off to get it fixed finally. It does have 15x10 rims which do cause some rubbing i had to remove the fender flares and cut the black plastic piece that inside the wheel well. Just the back bottom cornerand on sharp turns they hit the bottom of the bumper. But if you do go down a driveway fast enough it does hit the corner of the body. if that makes sense. I am going to change the rims to 15x8 rims when i get it back. hopefully they can get it fixed with no more problems.

Well... The new shop took a look at my truck... They were discusted at the install on the front end that was kind of there.. They said "That installer f***ed everything up. Your bolts are on wrong and if you even put tires on this thing and could figure out your steering the CV joints would break the first time you bumped into a curb." So they have to take the whole front end apart and start all over. BAH!!! well at least I did the back end and they said that looked fine. :-p HA! I did a better install job then the installer... LOL!! ahhh how fun. Makes me even more pissed at that guy.

Well at least they are getting to it right?

<~~~ Pissed off..

I looked @ my truck compaired to a Chevy lift they did.. I'm discusted with mostly the install. But the Front Driveshaft isn't long enough to bolt to the Front Differential.

Basically I don't think any thought was put into making the lift of installing it.

Mikes-Off-Road has contacted Truckin-Suspension to ask for the correct.... Instructions.

We'll see what they look like when Mikes gets the Fax.

Yes I'll take pictures when I get batteries tomorrow.

Knobbyman Knobbyman Knobbyman oh lord Knobbyman. It's becoming too painful to even read this
thread anymore. I would be just freaking out. Actually I would be in prison for popping a few rounds in to that first installer. Then the bustards at Truckin-Suspension would still have to leave the county to get away from me.

I would take them to court or hunt them down like the dirty dogs they are. Well that's not right, I like dogs (even dirty dogs). Hunt them down like Osma Bin Ladden. No that's wrong also, he got away. Ok I know, hunt them down like the crappy 4 wheel drive lift kit manufacturers they are. Low lives.

Update is.. I'm going to the shop to check on the truck and get the quote.. They've been talking to places finding prices of the pieces they are going to have to replace.. so they haven't gotten a good solid quote for me yet..

I know the alignment will cost me $185 but that's it.

I was there for about 30 minutes today while he was working on it. They have some cool tools over there I just hope they have some magic I don't know about.

Knobbyman you have know idea of who you are dealing with overthere at Truckin Suspension. They are also known as: Chasis Tech, AIM, Bullit, Blow Jack, Godmothers, and some others I can't remember. The way they told you that "everyone loves it" is usual for them, you were most likly one of the first ones they sold. The way they won't help you with any expenses doesn't suprise me at all, I would have been in shock if they gave you any compensation at all.
Many people have tried to sue them in the past but none have been able to, they have them self protected pretty good.
If I was you I would send it all back for a refund, (don't plan on getting any shipping back) and go with something els like a straight axle, unless you realy feel comfortable with the parts and they guy that's going to fab some kid of reenforcements.
These guys are brand new to the 4x4 market, they have been doing 2wd lifts for a couple of years. I have a friend that did the Chevy 2wd 6" lift and after a few months one of the welds broke on one of the upper control arms. All they would do is replace it, no towing, no labor, nothing.
There is a long list of people that hate them but can't do anything about.

I would put my e-mail address in here but they know who I am, and I don't need any hassels from them.

Good luck.

JJ shoot me the information that you have.. Any people that you know that ordered parts from them and had problems with it. I'd love to have some more people then just me saying that my parts suck. Getting abunch of people together all having the same bad results would really help when it comes to Sueing and trying to get re-imbursed. Also have your friends call the Better Business Buero and file a complaint. I haven't taken any action like this because I'm still in the process of my lift and I won't until I have everything taken care of. My e-mail address is listed in my profile or click on the e-mail link to the left of this.

They figured out my steering and it doesn't look like it's going to have any bump steer.

They are making a skid plate to cover my front differential and then some bars going from rear of the lower control arm drop bracket back to support it all.
