I am very interested in adding headers as well. But I heard that the ones that come stock are very good. How much of an increase would these JBAs actually add?
I will need help to install them.

I personally run the JBA headers and they made a decent difference in the mid to top-end power band. The install is easy and you retain the factory Y-pipe. No welding, cutting, banging, etc., required.
The factory 3.9L's don't come with factory headers but rather manifolds.

Thanks for your reply. I didn't know that the 3.9Ls didn't have headers. (Ok, that is embarrassing to say...duhhhh)
When ever I inquired about headers for my truck I usually got answers like "you don't need them" "the stock ones are good"...blah blah blah. So I was glad to read that there would be definate gains with that installation.
Anyway, like everyone else I am curious about the cost.
Thanks for all your efforts on this great website.

bernd, i was going to get my pcm flashed as my next mod, but if the GB on the headers is good ill get them. also i seen on speedtweeks the header install on the R/T. how much did the header change the HP or 1/4 times?
will the GB come with the y-pipe, or at least the option to get the y-pipe?
