The cheapest price retail right now is 279.00 to 405.00 depending on the style and material. Depending on the number of people, we should be able to get these at 10% to 50% off. OK who is interested?

I think one of the keys to getting a group buy on the exhaust system will be to find a place with free shipping. Shipping is where a lot of places make up for the discount on price.

I am extremely intereted in the exaust you mentioned for my 5.2. I will take what ever material is the cheapest and whichever gives the loudest grumble. Also, I am not sure what its called but the tail pipe is set up like stock-singlepipe out the side.

That is 10 total!!! We have it on all of these dont worry! I posted on the DML, dakotaUSA, pickuptruck.com etc... If you have a doubt spread the word.. The buy last for an approx 3-4 weeks...It will be no prolbem to get 10..I estimante actully about 20..we will see.

I attempted to click on the group buy #1 on the top of the forum, and then clicked on the paypal button to buy now!
However, the quoted price on the page was $275, but the paypal wants an extra 5 dollars? what's up with that?

Ok the gibson problem should be fixed in an hour or so...keep checking. When you put your order in, your funds are held until 10 people have ordered then the order goes through...DOnt worry we need people to start it off.. I would think by the emails that it will go through in a day or two!!! Go ahead guys...dont wait ..just order

Im sorry, Gibson does not have your engine listed on their site... You could however buy the system and have it custom fit to your truck.. Im not reccommending this as I have no idea as to its efficency, or lack there of, etc... You may want to ask around and see if it works/ is worth it???

The single swept side is the quietest and most power producing. The I believe the dual pipes are alittle louder, and alittle less power producing..I should not be much of a difference either way you go, and they are the same price. The only thing you have to pick is where you want them to come out and single or dual...becasue you will give your; year, model, and engine, when you order and gibson makes them specifically for your truck

All SINGLE Exit systems use 3" tailpipes and all DUAL Exit systems use 2.5" tailpipes.

For torue you want the 3 inch, single side exhaust... it ssupposted to produce more. But Its so small a difference from the others that it really should not matter much.

Jonas is correct.
The single 3" systems give you the best performance due to beter exhaust pulse flow. The Dual exit systems work very well but are more for looks. Either system is better than stock though.

I plan on getting the dual out the back. Mu concerns are that they wont fit over the stock pipes easily and they will have to be welded. My second is, where are the hangers for the left pipe since my stock pipe is on the right? Someone please put my fears to rest. Also, how do I measure what size my pipes are?

Dont worry, hangers are included in the kit, and the kits are made specifically for your truck! They do fit..when you order you will have to give your year, model, and engine...then the specific kit for your truck will be sent to you.

O.k. a couple more questions about the Gibson and the group buy. First, I just noticed that the dual split out the side is am intermediate skill level as comared to the bigginer level for the single out the side, why? If anyone has installed this, whats the deal. Second, if I plan on paying with a check, how do I get you the info about my Dakota?
