I would really like to know if those decrease airflow and lowwer hp like I heard. Also I heard they were very difficult to install because of the hood latch... are these things true? Thanks.

i would definatly be interested on going in on a group buy for the ss speed grills i called up street scene because i was worried about the air thing to but they said it was cool i checked it over with a buddy of mine who has one in his dakota and he says there are no problems. the only problem he had was the fact that he paid up the a$$ for it

I'd be interested in these if the price was exceptional - I already have billet overlays that look good but if the price was right I wouldn't mind having a real grille replacement.

Guys, I have a good price for not having a group buy on these. You can buy them for 195.00 shipped outside of a group buy with our discount.
Or if we can get 5 or more people i can get them for 185.00 shipped. This includes both the top and bottom pieces.

Not to crap on the GB, but I finally got my DITY (do it yourself) grille installed this past weekend.

Cost me all of $15 to build but looks like a $200+ job.

That looks OK that is what i did for the lower valence on my last DAKOTA but it still does not look quite the same as the SS i had.
Also the gutter mesh i used got darker in a couple of months but the SS inserts always looked good
Just my 3.9 cents lol
Any word on those inserts jonas?

Here's another shot. The license plate really kills the look but down here the front plate law is enforced. Considering the speed limit isn't enforced, I'd rather have it this way!

Yeah it's a Mopar roof rack, installed by the dealer along with a bunch of other mopar stuff before they shipped the truck down to me. The salesman even drove it to a shop to get the Rhino liner put in!
Since its Mopar just about any dealership can get it for you. You should go to the salesman who sold you the truck and see if he can hook you up with a discount.

I'd be in too if I knew a price. Do they just fit over the original inserts, or do you need to do some cutting. It also looks like the upper half interferes with the hood latch. I have teh safari bar and daylighters on the bottom, so I'd only be interested in the top portion. Been quoted about $300CDN for the top half. How ya doin on the price?
