I was thinking of getting a spray-on bedliner in my new 2001 Dakota CC when it comes in. Which do you feel is the best one to get?

I have the Line-X spray-on bedliner on my truck and I'm very happy with it. It looks very nice and it's fuctional at the same time. I have gotten many compliments from people who have drop-on or rhyno spray-on bedliners on their trucks. I would definetely recomend Line-X.

Go with the Line-X I have had mine for a couple of weeks and it is awesome. The best thing you could add to a new truck. It is expensive about $400, but it is definitely worth the compliments and it looks great.

DO NOT BUY A DUPLICOLOR spray on bed liner... they
are too thin and do not stop things from sliding
around and the damn things flake off really easy.
I ended up taking mine off and going with a Line X.

I put a Herculiner in my bead a few months ago by myself. It cost me around $110. It came out great and am very happy with it. I have a friend with a 94 dak and he has the Rhino liner ($400)and was very impressed with how mine looked and came out. Mine is also more skid proof than my friends. It is also very easy to apply. Took me about a half a day.

I have a new 2001, a couple of months ago I purchased a Mega-Liner spray-on liner and I love it. I got a custom color which nearly matched the color of my truck to perfection. I have used my truck to haul many things including a Piano and had no problems with scratching, gouging or slipping. I would definatly recommend them to all of my friends. The cost was very reasonable about 15% less expensive then any of the other dealers.

I read here someplace that there was a company with a glow in the dark liner. I went to their web page and they also offered color matching, but for the life of me i cant remember their name nor webpage address. Anyone ever heard of a company like this? I really want to get a color matched liner. Thanks...

Most of the major ones do color matching now. The only problem with it is UV rays tend to discolor them, though there are rejuvenators on the market now for about $30. If you have a tonneau or top then UV isn't as much of a problem.

My Rhino liner came out nice. No slip surface, even coverage, 'bout 1/4" thick.
I love it so far!

I don't think that's an easy task. I think the people that put it in have to take it out. After that, though, your bed is exposed and you'll need to reseal it by having another product put in or repainting it.

Permatec has the Glow in the Dark Bedliner - It costs around $1600 to do a bed.

hehehehe - yeah, I wanted to spray my entire 4x4. The estimate was around $4000 for the glow in the dark.

.......and another thing, he wouldn't get any door dings. Matter of fact, I'd feel sorry for the other guys door. If that stuff's like Line-X the other guy'll take a chunk out of his door. I'd love to be in a parking lot watching that.

We saw someones jeep and he had sprayed the whole car and it looked great! My question is: What would be the best product to use that would withstand some heat as we want to spray the outside of a commercial oven. Thanks for all help!

Where are you located? I do spray on bedliners, but Im a contractor and Im using it to do garage floors and industrial equipment. How hot does the outside surface of the oven get?
Give me a call i can at least give you a idea of what youre looking as far as cost and stuff

for the guy who wanted to remove his spray on bedliner. there are 3 ways to remove it.
One is to grind it off but it will take a rotary sander with twisted wire rope cup brush ( it takes a long time and you will go through a few brushes.
you can have it sand blasted off. it wont be cheap cause it takes a long time for the sand to eat the liner
third way is to use a chemical. its widely available its messy and will take a long time thats why I dotn suggest it.
best way to do it is to grind it off. to give you a idea Ive taken off a few cheap roll on liners and some bad looking spray on liner. the spray on liners take abotu 8 hours to remove. I did a tailgate once and it took me about 1 1/2 hours and 1 cup brush. the stuff ate the brisles down to the cup
