 Subject: Fog light replacement

SO i buy a new bulb for my fog light because it's out. 15$, pretty expensive but i've had the truck 5 years and it's the first bulb to ever go. I go to install and find my lens is cracked, no stone chip but the thing is cracked from top to bottom. Call dealer up to see how much. OVER 300 FRIGGIN dollars(Canadian). What the hell. Who in their right mind would pay that??? Can't get just the lens you have to buy the whole "assembly". Even the "assembly" has f*ck all to it!! I'm pissed, going to call wreckers to try and source one but does anyone else have any idea where i could get one?? I know i can get a COMPLETE set of aftermarket fog lamps for less than a third of what the dealer wants!! But i would like to just replace the factory set-up. Sorry for the rant, any help would be great.

I've got one I'll sell you from a 2000 r/t. One of mine got knocked out by a piece of tire tread the idiot in front of me ran over. So i just went and got after market ones. I'de sell the whole thing bulb,lens, and plastic frame its mounted in for $50. Not sure if it matters but mine is for the passenger side. Let me know if you want it.

I need the one for the drivers side. I'll have to take a look but i know they're different part numbers. Could probably make it work though. Where are you at??

After going to the dealer and having sticker shock, I bought one for my 98 Dakota on EBay - brand new delivered to the house for $53.

Ahhhhhhh.... where the weather is nice. I'm up in Southern Ontario, Canada. I'm afraid by the time the shipping is paid for it won't be worth it. Thanks anyway. I've been asking around and i don't think it's going to be very hard to find one.
