The sill panel just pulls straight up off the retainer clips. BE CAREFUL, there's a plastic finger on both ends of sill panel that slides under the front and rear kick panels that breaks off easily.

What you need to do is pull straight up on the center of the sill panel and then bow it up in the center so the fingers on the ends of the sill panel clear the front and rear kick panels before you pull the ends of the sill panel off the retainer clips. I learned the hard way, broke one of the fingers off. The retainers are metal which engage with the plastic sill panel, so the fixed metal retainer stays on the truck and tha plastic sill panel pulls off.

Front kick panel, same type of retainer clips as the sill plate except for the top clip, but they still release by pulling them off. Just pull back and wiggle at the same time they will pop off. It seams that DC designed the front trim to be removed easily and go back on without ruining anything. Pillar trim it the same, pull and wiggle.

Back kick panel is a pain, you need to remove the seat belt anchor covers and bolts (torx), the top panel, the back panel and then the lower kick panel. These panels are held in place by replaceable plastic "christmas tree" retainers and they WILL break and strip out if your not realy careful. Pull on the panel with a slight wiggling motion to get the retainers free.

I pulled off my rear panels to install a system and broke a couple of the retainers. Had one heck of a time finding the correct retainers, Dodge wants $3/each and they were not the right clips so I went online to find them. Lets see, I can pay Dodge $3/each or get them online $7/25, thats a hard decision.

If your just need to remove the carpet the carpet, you probably don't need to remove the back panels. Just loosen the tool tray bolts so you can slide the carpet out from underneath. Might not even need to loosen the tool tray, just try to pull the carpet out.

I made custom sub boxes with a front filler panel and the carpet slides in and out from underneath the filler panel and rear kick panels.

DC did not design the assembly method if your trck's interior, a Company known as LEAR AUTOMOTIVE INTERIORS did.
