Subject: HO Cams and P0340 Code
IP: Logged

Message:
Just got done installing the HO cams and intake. Truck started right up and ran for a few miles then quit. Code shows up as 0340 - No Camshaft sensor signal - Anyone else seen this. Also, will just installing a new Cam sensor fix the problem or will it just run a couple of miles and quit again. Looking for help. Thanks.

Well, there was no code on that sensor before the swap, so you either damaged the sensor, or maybe it wasn't functioning properly. Do what mo-par said...replug and reset your computer.
