i went to get new insurance and i was told my 89 dakota is a shelby according to the vin. are there any sites i can research this? i am very curious now and would like to find out. thanks for any help. Mike

probably the two best websites outthere for vin research are http://.www.carfax.com and www.autocheck.com. Each will cost you about 10 or 15 bucks to run a vin#.
