When either the air temp or the opeating temp of my 97 Dakota warms up the dome lights will stay on until the battery runs down. The local dealer suggested that they adjust the fit of the door to put more pressure on the light switch!!!
Sometime I can make the light go out by using the remote lock, but this dosen't work of a night when I am driving, the stupid light stays on as long as the motor is running. For the past several months I have just been removing the fuse whenever I park the truck for an extended period of time. Any body else with this problem.

I have the same problem with the dome lights in my '01 Dakota. It just started to go on and off as it pleases, running or not. Anyone else?
