Subject: Water behind headlights

I am having trouble with water getting behind my clear plastic headlight lenses and causing my lights to self-destruct.Has anyone else had this problem?Is there a fix?Thanks.

Nto headlights but fogs....

Not headlights but fog lights...both cracked in the exact same spot and are both FULL of water now...either it is a defect or that was one damn good rock!!! Never looked at the head lights that close but will check it out...anyone else have probs with the fogs?

1 remove the headlight or foglight assembly from the truck.
2 drill a small (1/8 inch) hole into the assembly at the lowest point where the water accumulates.
3 replace assembly.
4 next time water tries to accumulate it drains out the small hole, simple.

My 2001 had the problem of one headlight fogging
over. Took it back to dealer, they replaced the
defective lamp at no charge. Seem the lamps had
defective seals in some.

the defective seals is the answer. if you don't have em, drillin a whole will sure get em fir ya.
