It's not difficult to get to the rear speakers but it does take patience and time. The side panels are actually in 2 pieces, a top and a bottom half. Start by removing the back rest part of the back seats. It is held in with about a dozen push-in fasteners and just snaps out. It isn't necessary but it helps to remove the tool tray from under the back seats also. It just has about 5 or 6 10mm bolts holding it to the floor. Then unsnap the plastic cover and remove the torx bolts from the seat belt anchor points on both sides of the rear side windows. It helps to partially remove the rubber weather strip on the edge of the door jamb in front of the top side panel area, then pull the top section of the side panel out and remove it. Then remove the screws and/or push-in fastener clips holding in the lower panel section. Work it out from around the seat belts and work your way out of the truck with it. Then it's easy to remove the speakers, only 3 phillips screws for each.
It would be a lot easier to pick up the speaker level inputs either at the factory Infinity Amp in the passenger kick panel or you can find the rear speaker leads in the wire harness under the edge of the carpet on each side of the truck, leading back to the rear of the cab. No matter where you find the speaker leads, the colors are:
White/red Left rear +
White/black Left rear -
Tan/purple Right rear +
Tan/black Right rear -
