I just want to tell you that an awesome sounding system is possible in a regular cab. I have an 01 R/T regular cab that came with the Infinity system in it but to those who know how music is supposed to sound knows that it still sounds like crap. What I did was put an Alpine 9813 head unit in the dash with the XM tuner mounted on a custom board along the back wall. On that back wall I also put an Xtant 4 x 50 watt amp that is driving a set of Diamond Audio 6.5" components up front and Diamond Audio 5.25" components in the back. I also mounted all four crossovers for the components on the amp board. For some good bass, i used 2 JL audio 10" subs mounted in the proper airspace fiberglass tubes i made myself and side loaded them. I have a Phoenix gold 100x2 amp driving these off the headunits subwoofer outputs. Talk about quality, clarity and overall sound. I have seen SUV's, hatchbacks and everything else that gives you all kinds of room not even come close to how this sounds. Just thought I would let you all know its not hopeless for us regular cab guys.

I will take pics for you. Really though it just looks like an alpine unit in the dash. The speakers are in the same locations as factory so the door panels look stock and so do the pillars behind the seat. The only exception is different tweeter grills in the doors and the addition of flush mount tweeters on the pillars and then the back wall with amp, xm tuner, and 4 component crossovers m ounted along with 2 tubes on the floor, one behind each seat. But i will take pics.
