 Subject: MTX thunderform for 92 ext cab dak?

I was wondering if anyone has tried to fit the MTX thunderform in a GennII dakota? They have it listed for only 97 and above, but itlooks like that it would fit in the older extended cab dak. Would it be better to just cut the storage compartment to and make some speakers fit in its place?

instead of cutting up the box you can mount speakers in it. I made a plate for a pair of boston acoustics 8". The plate goes on the drivers side tool box with the speaker motors up. The internal volume of the enclosure is about 1.73 cubic feet so it was nice and tight. I spayed the inside of the inside of the toolbox with Dynasheild and it seemed to drop about 5Hz. so you could just build a plate and screw and glue it down. A pair of 8" subs is plenty for just behind the driver, especialy motor up. I have since decided to replace this system with a waveguild system which I am working on feverishly.
